Marilyn's Mexican Furnishings

This weekend, Julien's Auctions will sell furniture, photos and personal items once belonging to Marilyn Monroe.

What really stood out to me were these folding stools with tasseled cushions.  The actress picked them up on a trip to Mexico and used them to furnish her Spanish style home in Los Angeles.

Can't you just see Marilyn perched on one of these beauties?  I adore the rustic wood paired with the girly cushions!  The tassels and colors give them a Moroccan vibe, no?

I think they would be equally chic in a living room, as Marilyn used them, or out on the patio.

This copper mirror is fabulous too!  Great for an entryway or powder room.
